I BOUGHT MY FLOORING FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS, It is a prefinished flooring that was installed by a professional flooring company, the same way they have been installing floors for decades The flooring is splintering and chipping in spots and the finish is coming off in those spots. After a lengthy process of questions and forms a so called independent inspector came out and said it was possibly due to the humidity in the home and or the installation process.
I was then directed to the warranty where it basically says no matter how it was installed if we think it is due to the installation we will not warranty the product. It's a nail down floor how else do you install it? What good is that ?
Not much a warranty at all. TOTALLY DISAPOINTED
