We purchased flooring products and installation from Lumber Liquidators (LL) Store. The LL installer visited our home and itemized what was required, we paid the bill and the items were delivered. Our installation was scheduled to start on 3/6/18. On 3/8/18 the LL installer advised us that items were missing from our order. On 3/10/18 we were advised by the LL installer that he failed to include the rear steps - he said he provided another itemization to the LL Store and we followed up on 3/13/2018 and on 3/24/2018 we paid for those items. The LL installer installed them on 4/27/2018 but that order was short two treads and the bullnose for the top landing, the order also failed to include a reducer (included a riser instead). We followed up in June and July - finally on 7/11/2018 the LL installer arrived (5 hours after the appointment) with two stairs that were too small!
Since March 8 we have patiently lived with an incomplete flooring project. It's now more than four months after the project began and two steps remain stripped down to the underlayment - no bullnose at the landing and no exotic stair treads! Despite the price we paid for a major overhaul of virtually all of our home flooring, every morning we awake to two uncovered stairs!
We relied on the expertise of the LL installer. However, the LL installer failed to properly measure and itemize for the products needed to complete our project - NOT TWICE, NOT THREE TIMES BUT FOUR TIMES!
We should be able to rely on your installer to get the project right!
